How will it end?

In both Dr. Bounds’ overview and the chapter you read in Practicing Christian Doctrine, you were exposed to the core beliefs that Christians have had about the end times for 2000 years. However, it is also quite possible that you have heard other elements or version of the end times.

Pick either an element of the video and reading that intrigued you or some other end time teaching you have heard and do a little research on it. In an initial post of at least 300 words, first, explain the teaching. Then give your sense of whether it is orthodox or raise questions you have about it or point out what is most interesting to you about it.

After making your initial post, please read through the responses of your classmates and make at least two follow-up comments on a different day than your original post. Remember to respect the diversity of perspectives and experiences within our community as you engage in this discussion. These responses should contribute meaningfully to the discussion, whether by asking insightful questions, providing additional examples or perspectives, or challenging ideas respectfully.
