As shown in the attached document, the disciple-making journey started with discussions about how Disciple-making is not an optional activity, but a required part of each of our journeys. I argued that it is the overflow of the Good News in our lives (and why wouldn't we want to share that sort of a thing with others?!) Furthermore, the importance of false assumptions cannot be overlooked. Particularly those assumptions relating to the reading of the Bible being sufficient, and that interpretation is not required. I mentioned the passage about the house built upon the Rock, and also the passage about a man looking in a mirror and forgetting what he looks like, as examples of how we are called to apply and live out what we learn in the study of the Word.
