Practice: Where is God moving?

The mantra of missional thinking is to ask where God is moving in your context and then to get on board. Spend some time reflecting on this question. Where do you see God moving in your world? Start by bracketing out what you see the church doing in your context. Where are good things happening apart from the church, things that cohere with God’s mission to the world? Now include good things that God is doing through the church.

Where are there potential synergies between the church and what God is doing in your context? What are some possible first steps to engage?
