Completion requirements
- Take some time to sketch out the influence networks of your congregation.
- Who are the people who connect people?
- Who are the channels, the wires on which information and ideas flow?
- Who is connected to who?
- If you have some information you would like to see disseminated, experiment with the network.
- How easily can you get information out to the church simply by targeting a few key people?
- Report back on your findings.
- Is there someone you need to have a difficult conversation with?
- Review the guidelines for the kinds of attitudes you need to have going in.
- Pray and prepare yourself emotionally for the chat.
- Find the right moment, perhaps schedule a coffee or a meeting.
- Have courage!
