Assignment
Practice: In Your Neighborhood
Completion requirements
Mark as done
Take some time to sketch out the influence networks of your congregation.
Who are the people who connect people?
Who are the channels, the wires on which information and ideas flow?
Who is connected to who?
If you have some information you would like to see disseminated, experiment with the network.
How easily can you get information out to the church simply by targeting a few key people?
Report back on your findings.
Is there someone you need to have a difficult conversation with?
Review the guidelines for the kinds of attitudes you need to have going in.
Pray and prepare yourself emotionally for the chat.
Find the right moment, perhaps schedule a coffee or a meeting.
Have courage!
Submit your reflections on the event below and be sure to follow up.
