As you go to church this week, take the learning and explorations of this Lesson and apply them. Take notes and then reflect on the following questions:

• How did you observe or experience the presence of the Holy Spirit not only in the worship service but also in the people you encountered before, during, and after the service? What did you learn about what the Spirit was doing not only through your church but through the church around the world? Feel free to include insights from outside your time at church this week.
• What did you observe or experience about the nature of the Church? Revisit the insights on the Church from the Lesson and ask yourself how the body of Christ was functioning in your local congregation. What do you perceive God to be doing through your church in your neighborhood and beyond?
• Where, either in church or beyond this week, have you seen indications of Christian hope not only for the future but for the present?
