Let’s create a time management plan that prioritizes tasks based on urgency and importance. We’ll Incorporate the time management plan into the Course Capstone assessment. This exercise will help us prioritize tasks and manage time, balancing urgent and important responsibilities in your leadership role.

Instructions

  1. List Your Tasks (30 minutes):
    • Create a comprehensive list of your current tasks and responsibilities. Include both short-term and long-term tasks related to your leadership role.
  2. Categorize Tasks Using the Eisenhower Matrix (45 minutes):
    • Use the provided Eisenhower Matrix template to categorize each task as Urgent/Important, Urgent/Not Important, Not Urgent/Important, or Not Urgent/Not Important.
    • This categorization will help you prioritize your tasks effectively.
  3. Developing the Time Management Plan (30 minutes):
    • Based on the Eisenhower Matrix, create a weekly or monthly plan that allocates time to each category of tasks.
    • Ensure that important tasks, even if not urgent, are given adequate time and attention.
  4. Reflect on the Process (15 minutes):
    • Reflect on how this exercise has affected your view of task prioritization and time management.
    • Consider any changes you might need to make in your approach to ensure a balance between urgent and important tasks.

Submit your completed Eisenhower Matrix and time management plan, along with your reflective notes.
