This Lesson has urged you to start where you are today. Take a moment to reflect on your day today, as well as the last few days.
- Where, by God’s grace, have you lived like Jesus? Pray about it and ask the Holy Spirit for insight into your motives and actions.
- Where, by the power of the Holy Spirit, were your attitudes the attitudes of Christ?
- Where did your actions demonstrate a love of God and neighbor?
- When did you show love to your “enemy”?
- Were there any points when the lights “flickered”?
- Did the power flow smoothly?
- Were there any points of hesitation or failure?
- Were there any moments when you tripped, either as an individual or in community?
The point is not to beat yourself up. Jesus is here with you in the room. He’s willing to help.
Pray some more. What does the Spirit want to do in the area or areas you have identified as potential growth points? Don’t try to fix or improve everything in the room at once. What is God calling you to work on today? Pray for God’s help and move forward!
