Practice: Not Quite Resurrection

There are no doubt many well-meaning people in the church who have faulty understandings of the resurrection but do not know it. They intend to believe the right things but perhaps have never been told any differently. Let’s say you encounter several people in the church who do not have quite the proper understanding of resurrection and the afterlife. Given what you have learned in this Lesson, as well as other resources, how would you respond to individuals who believe in the following ideas?

• Your soul goes to heaven when you die, and that’s it.
• Reincarnation
• Only the righteous will be resurrected. The wicked stay dead.
