Paul's Missionary Journey

Paul’s missionary journeys were instrumental in extending the gospel message throughout the then known world. Over the course of his journeys it is estimated that Paul may have traveled more than 10,000 miles and founded around 14 churches.

The Book of Acts chronicles three missionary journeys that took Paul through Greece, Turkey, Syria, and numerous regions we do not find on modern-day maps. His ministry during these travels played an important role in the formation and development of the early Christian church. Many of the communities he encountered on these missionary journeys were the same ones he wrote to in his epistles.

The reason it is important to study about Paul’s missionary journeys is because they are a key part of the New Testament. Studying about them helps us to discover how Christianity spread so rapidly.
