Final Paper: My Theology of Holiness

In this final paper, you will demonstrate your understanding of the doctrine and experience of entire sanctification such that you can preach on the subject and advise others in relation to it as a Wesleyan minister. Your paper should include the following elements:

1. It should demonstrate an understanding of the image of God and human nature as God created it.
2. It should demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Fall and its consequences for humanity in terms of sin.
3. It should explain the basis for sanctification in the person and work of Jesus Christ, which is implemented by the Holy Spirit and catalyzed in the Church.
4. It should demonstrate an understanding of the Wesleyan ordo salutis.
5. A final element should indicate how you would preach the topic, giving three or four passages with a paragraph or two indicating how you would preach them. Similarly, this section of your paper should indicate how you would instruct an individual who came to you asking about how to experience sanctification.
