Second Reading Observations

Later this week, I want you to schedule a “Second Reading.” Read the Entire Book of Mark once again as per the discussion in chapter 6 under the heading “Your Second Reading of Mark.” Remember, you are doing this to grasp the meaning and contents of Mark. But also, so you can grasp the process in order to teach it to your Disciple-in-the-making. You will find in the Appendix of True^North there is a handout (form) for your “Second Reading.” This form is also in the list of materials for this Module. Yes, it's a bit mechanical but it will help you to take ownership of the content of Mark. You can find here a completed sample form for the Letter of Ephesians done by a former student. It should give you an idea for the level of detail that you might expect on a Second Reading level.
