- Main Body: Divide the main body of your essay into four parts, each devoted to a different section of the Old Testament: The Pentateuch, The Historical Books, The Prophets, and The Poetic Books. In each section, summarize the major ideas discussed in the corresponding lesson and highlight key scriptures or themes that struck you.
