Instructions

Throughout this course, you have been putting together potential pieces for leading a Bible study that meets every week for 12 weeks. In this final project, you are going to put all those pieces together so that you can have your materials evaluated for a badge.

Create a plan for a 12-week Bible study over some book or portion of Scripture drawing on the insights you have gained from this MicroCourse. Your plan should include the following items:

  1. Who, Where, When? Drawing on your work from the first lesson, identify what group of people your group would focus on, where you would likely meet, and what the likely schedule of meeting would be.
  2. What? Drawing on Lesson 3, what portion of Scripture would you be studying? How do you plan on preparing yourself for the study? What resources do you plan on using to prepare? For the purposes of this MicroCourse, assume you are studying straight from the Bible rather than using a book or devotional in the group.
  3. How? Drawing on Lesson 4, how do you see the flow of an individual meeting going? How do you plan to structure your time together?
  4. Leadership Tips. Take your notes from the course, along with your “Ground Rules” document, and put together a “Leadership Tips” document. What are the key insights you will want to keep in mind as you lead? Format it in a way that you could potentially share with others as well. Notes to Self: These are tips to remember.

When you have finished writing these pieces up, upload them to the platform and pursue your badge!
