Lesson 1 Practice

Completion requirements

Take some time to meet God in deepest prayer. Pray through all the Scriptures in this lesson over and over again, seeking God.

  • Psalm 19:12: “Who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults.”
  • Hebrews 4:12-13: “The word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.”
  • Psalm 139:23: “Search me, God, and know my heart… see if there is any offensive way in me.”
  • Matthew 5:6: “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.”
  • Romans 5:5: “Hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”
  • Acts 4:31: “After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.”

What sins and blind spots is the Lord bringing to your attention? Can you surrender them to the Lord? Pray for the Spirit to fill you to the fullest.
