Lesson 2 Reflection Activities

Please read the additional reading: A Summary of The Wesleyan Quadrilateral, before answering the following questions. 

1. Which “tool” in the Quadrilateral do you use most often to help you interpret scripture? Which one do you need to employ more often? What are some steps that you can take to develop your practice of using this “least used” tool?
2. Spend time over the next few days consciously asking the Holy Spirit to help you better understand some specific passages (perhaps those you are reading in your personal devotions or those used by your pastor on Sunday morning). Reflect on this process and record your reflections.
