In this lesson, you have learned about how to put flesh to the skeleton of your course. Now it’s time to do it. First, create a Google Doc (or document in general) to work from. Then put the skeleton from your proposal into it: Course Title, Course Description, Course Takeaway, Lesson Titles, and Lesson Descriptions.
Now fill out the remaining structural elements. Add takeaways (or learning outcomes) to each lesson and lesson description. Within each lesson, identify any subtopics that you will cover in more detail. If you want to put placeholders for material you will add later, you can do that as well.
Now, flesh out any subtopics within each lesson. This could take the most time of your entire course creation process. Take your time. You might have someone proofread it for you. Step away from it for a day or two, then reread what you’ve written.
Congratulations! You’re most of the way there. Upload your work to the platform.
