Pretend that someone has asked you why they should study the Bible. How would you respond? Write up an answer based upon what you have learned from this lesson as well as from other sources, including your own past experience. 

• How have you encountered God through Scripture in the past? 
• Have you been part of a Bible study before? 
• How did any prior experiences like that impact your life? 
• If you are relatively new to Bible study, feel free to interview one or two others to get their thoughts on these questions.
