Practice Lesson 5

Formulate the specifics of your own worldview. Take the following six worldview questions and answer them for yourself:

1. Does God exist, and is he involved in the world?
2. What is most fundamentally real in the world?
3. What is a human being?
4. What is the basis for right and wrong?
5. How do we know what is true?
6. Where is history headed?

As you answer these questions, look for any unexamined assumptions you have about these things. What glasses might you be wearing without even knowing it? Does the way you live cohere with what you say you believe, or do you actually live as if your assumptions are different from what you say they are?
