  • Module 2: The Doctrine of God

    Introduction

As we dive into the various topics of theology, it is fitting that we would begin with a discussion of God because all things are from him and for him and through him (1 Cor. 8:6). You and I are not necessary to the universe, and the universe itself is not necessary. Only God is necessary to all things. This lesson explores the nature of God (the “what,” as Dr. Bounds calls it) and the “who” of God, namely, the Trinity.

    Learning Outcomes

By the end of this module, you will be able to:

    • Identify the attributes of God, both those he had before the creation and those that arose with the creation.
    • Describe the Trinity without falling into heresy.
