This lesson aims to equip you to:

1. Recognize, understand, and develop the seven characteristics of a Christian Counselor: Self Awareness, Empathy, Effective Listening, Warmth, Be Genuine, Trustworthiness, and Flexibility.
2. Realize that: 1) You cannot fix them, 2) You can be an encouraging presence, 3) You can draw them out, 4) You can ask questions, 5) You can help them talk it out, 6)You can bring calm, 7) You can bring peace.
