This Lesson explores the nature and certainty of our resurrection bodies. Christians do not believe that we will merely be souls in heaven for all eternity. Rather, God has planned an event, the resurrection of the dead. In 1 Corinthians 15, Paul emphasizes the embodied nature of our resurrection existence. We will not be disembodied souls in eternity. However, our bodies will be glorified bodies, not the flesh and blood bodies that we currently have. This is a great promise that should give us immense hope in the face of death!
