About the Instructor: Allen Lee, Ph.D. serves as the Professor of Christian Counselling and Director of the Counselling Centre at Kingswood University in Sussex, New Brunswick.

Course Description: This course will equip you with tools for offering support to those around you. This course will guide you through the intricacies of active listening, empathy, and effective encouragement. You'll also learn to recognize when professional help may be needed and how to take care of your emotional well-being while supporting others. Whether you're interacting with friends, family, or coworkers, the practical skills and insights you gain here will better position you to be a more compassionate and effective supporter.
